West Nautical opens new office in Dubai
West Nautical is opening a new office in Dubai as the superyacht company expands.
The office is located in Business Bay in the heart of Dubai’s commercial district. West Nautical says Dubai is ‘the perfect location’ to expand into, given the remarkable growth of the Dubai yachting market.
Major firms, including Sunreef Yachts and Camper & Nicholsons, have expanded into Dubai recently as the emirate reinforces its position as a global hub for superyachts.
West Nautical, founded in 2004, is a full-service superyacht company with head offices in Newcastle upon Tyne and international offices in more than five locations. The firm offers services including sales, charter, yacht management and crew recruitment.
“We are thrilled to be expanding into the incredible city of Dubai, where the superyacht market has seen significant growth in recent years,” says Geoff Moore, MD of West Nautical. “We have a great Dubai-based team ready to super-serve our clients.”
In May, West Nautical acquired UK chandlery Storrar Marine, which had gone into liquidation. It is now named Marine Chandlery.
