Sunreef Yachts sells first ‘emission-free’ sailing catamaran
Polish catamaran manufacturer Sunreef Yachts has announced the sale of its first unit in its Sunreef 35-metre Eco series.
The 35-metre sailing catamaran will feature yard-patented integrated solar panels embedded into the hull side, superstructure, bimini, custom-engineered batteries, and electric engines for ‘silent’ and ‘emission-free’ cruising.
“With our cutting-edge green technologies, this yacht delivers a sustainable yet comfortable way to explore the oceans,” says Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts founder and president.
The specifications of this Sunreef Yachts Eco multihull include a 14.7-metre beam lending to its ‘expansive interiors’ and a ‘vast owner’s suite with private access to a bow terrace.’ The catamaran further accommodates four guest cabins and three crew quarters.
Other notable highlights include a plunge pool, alfresco lounge, and the Ocean Lounge aft deck, which enable direct water access for watersports. The sale was brokered through Y.CO, and according to Sunreef Yachts, it further points to the growing demand for ‘eco-responsible catamarans.’
