Riva and Jeff Brown teams pose together

Riva, a brand of Italian boating giant Ferretti Group, has signed a new dealership agreement with Jeff Brown Yachts in the United States. As the exclusive dealer for Riva boats along the US West Coast, Jeff Brown Yachts will manage distribution, sales and services in the area, covering states such as Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii.

“I met Jeff a few years ago at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and I soon realised he could have been the right business partner,” says Simone Meletti, managing director of Ferretti Group Americas. “Jeff shares our same commitment and vision for Riva. I’m confident Jeff Brown Yachts will be a leading player for Ferretti Group and will make an important contribution to the continuing growth of the Riva brand in the US market.”

Jeff Brown, owner of Jeff Brown Yachts, adds: “It’s an absolute honor to represent Riva on the West Coast from Seattle to San Diego. Riva is a storied brand that I have admired for my entire life so to represent the brand exclusively on the West Coast of the United States is truly a privilege.”

Jeff Brown Yachts operates from a network of offices in San Diego (CA), Newport Beach (CA), Sausalito (CA), Seattle (WA), Kailua-Kona (HI) and Wrightsville Beach (NC). The dealership describes itself as one of the fastest-growing on the West Coast, offering customers tailored services for sales, repairs, refitting and maintenance. It also represents the yachting brands Axopar, Brabus, Sirena, Pardo and Y Yachts.

Riva El-Iseo

Riva’s electric El-Iseo launched earlier this year.

Earlier this year, Ferretti Group officially opened its Riva shipyard in La Spezia in a ceremony attended by Chairman Tan Xuguang and CEO Alberto Galassi.

The refurbishment covered both the production and management sections of the shipyard in La Spezia – where Riva yachts are produced – as well as the lounge area that offers hospitality to owners, captains and crew.
