Raymarine and Maretron upgrade marine display technology with new integration
Marine electronics brands Raymarine and Maretron have announced a new technical integration that will allow boat owners to access more comprehensive monitoring through Raymarine’s Axiom chartplotter displays.
The collaboration enables Maretron’s MConnect technology to work directly with Raymarine’s multifunction displays, allowing users to monitor and control multiple vessel systems from Raymarine’s LightHouse interface.
MConnect provides real-time access to hundreds of data points across a boat’s systems. When integrated with Raymarine’s Axiom displays, users can create customised dashboards that consolidate critical vessel information into one view.
Key benefits include comprehensive vessel data monitoring, customisable user interfaces and seamless integration across marine electronics systems.
Jim Catterall, Maretron’s business development manager, highlights the partnership’s significance: “By integrating MConnect with Raymarine’s Axiom line, we are creating an experience that is powerful, intuitive and fully customisable. This collaboration exemplifies our shared commitment to enhancing the boating experience by delivering innovation and connectivity for our users.”
Michelle Hildyard, Raymarine’s vice president of operations, emphasises the collaboration’s value for boat builders and dealers: “Bringing the Maretron MConnect into our digital ecosystem gives boat builders and dealers the flexibility to create a seamless user experience for our mutual customers.
“Our collaboration with Mareton aligns with our goal to give our customers maximum flexibility and choice when building a Raymarine navigation system.”
The integrated system is now available through Maretron‘s dealer network, compatible with Raymarine‘s Axiom chartplotters.
