Penguin Refrigeration expands sales department with new manager

Penguin Refrigeration, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of specialist refrigeration solutions for the marine and motorhome market, has promoted Paul Merrett to the newly created position of Vitrifrigo sales manager.

Merrett joined Penguin Refrigeration as a warehouse manager in April 2021. He started his new role in May 2024, and is now responsible for the sales pipeline, from developing new business opportunities to supporting and working with existing customers.

Penguin Refrigeration says it aims to expand Vitrifrigo’s brand presence across the motorhome market, and Merrett’s experience is a “vital component” to this growth.

“I am thrilled to be strengthening Penguin Refrigeration’s sales department in my new role as Vitrifrigo sales manager,” says Merrett. “With three years’ experience at the company, I look forward to transferring my knowledge and skills to this new position, offering our fantastic clientele in-depth industry insight, product advice and customer support.”

Penguin Refrigeration is the exclusive UK supplier of Vitrifrigo, Frigoboat and Climma brands of refrigeration products for campervans, luxury motorhomes, yachts and boats.

In August 2023, Penguin launched a new EU branch based in Cork, Ireland. The new distribution subsidiary is called Penguin Refrigeration EU.
