Sunseeker International has passed another milestone in its global expansion strategy. This time it’s appointed DCH Marine as its exclusive master distributor for the Asia Pacific region. Sunseeker now has four of these on its roster (tasked with managing large territories and ensuring consistent customer service across regions) as DCH Marine joins One Water Yacht Group (USA), Sunseeker London Group (Mediterranean), and Sunseeker Gulf (Middle East). DCH Marine will oversee the territory ranging from China to Australia.

DCH Marine is now tasked with delivering customer service and support across a region that is geographically the largest territory ever assigned to a single Sunseeker distributor. It’s headquartered in Hong Kong where it’s got a shipyard and has offices in Shenzhen, China, and Singapore. It is opening an additional office in Thailand, plus three across Australia.

Sunseeker (recently in the press after Uber started offering trips on a Sunseeker yacht) says it already has over 500 yachts in the Asia Pacific region so it makes sense to expand DCH Marine’s role across the entire Asia Pacific territory (it already reps the company in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand).

“We feel very fortunate that our strategic visions aligned so perfectly,” says Douglas Culverwell, director of distributor development of Sunseeker International. Though this begs the question why anyone would appoint a distributor who didn’t share the same vision? (MIN’s growing lists of distributors are available for Europe, United Kingdom, and Middle East (EMEA) and also North, Central and South America, and APAC (Asia and Pacific).)

“DCH Marine has consistently demonstrated the team’s ability to offer a world-class level of customer service and support. Asia Pacific is a vital region for Sunseeker, and we are truly excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring as we continue to grow our presence with a customer-centric focus.”

“This partnership with Sunseeker is a natural extension of our growth strategy,” says Adam Waters, MD of DCH Marine (which also looks after Williams Jet Tenders). “We are investing heavily in our people, premises, and product offerings to ensure we continue to lead in this market. Sunseeker is an iconic brand, and we are delighted to represent them across Asia Pacific. This appointment cements the next step in our future.”

DCH Marine will present the Sunseeker range at the yachting events in the region, commencing with the Hong Kong International Boat Show (28 November – 1 December 2024), Thailand International Boat Show (9-12 January 2025), Singapore Yachting Festival (10-13 April 2025), Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (22-25 May 2025) and Sydney International Boat Show (31 July – 3 August 2025).
