Marina Projects, a consultancy firm specialising in marina design and waterfront development, has appointed three new people amid an ongoing expansion to keep pace with increasing global demand for its services.

Andy Garland has been appointed as senior operations manager. Previously heading up an international marina consultancy business, Garland’s knowledge spans from marina feasibility and design to long-term growth strategies for mixed-use waterfront developments. He has had previous involvement with Marina Projects.

Garland says: “I am genuinely excited to be part of the team providing seamless support to both domestic and international consultancy projects and to support the operational businesses”.

Sara Stanton steps in as the newest project manager. Her previous roles included race crew coordinator for the Global Challenge, skipper and trainer, and roles encompassing engineering and boat production.

“I am delighted to be joining the company at a pivotal point of expansion with several exciting projects in development,” she says. “The Marina Projects team have been extremely welcoming, helping me settle smoothly into the new role.”

Alongside Stanton will be Rory Dickinson, who will join the team as a junior project manager. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my first few months at Marina Projects, and I am excited to see what the future holds working with this inspiring team on fascinating projects,” says Dickinson.

Mike Ward, Marina Projects managing director, comments: “The consultancy activity and operational businesses are both enjoying exceptional growth, with the consultancy in particular enjoying significant international success.

“We are delighted that Andy, Sara, and Rory have joined the team over the last few months, and each of them has already had the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the team effort. Andy’s significant operational experience plays particularly well in supporting both the operational businesses and the consultancy. Our strategy is founded on growing and developing the consultancy team, and we expect to be adding some more resources in the coming months”.
