The innovative boat hybridsation specialist, BlueNav is expanding its international distribution network and has signed contracts in Italy with Incofin and with Artı Marin in Turkey.

BlueNav is now present and established in England (Technical Marine Supplies), United Arab Emirates (Exalto Emirates), Netherlands (De Stille Boot), Spain (Azimut Marine), Italy (Incofin) and Turkey ( Artı Marin).

Mathilde Gombeaud, managing director, says: “Our expansion into Italy and Turkey reflects our ongoing commitment to the evolution of boating. Established in 2020, BLueNav develops electric and hybrid engines for boats. These motorisation solutions are designed to convert medium-sized boats, ranging from eight to 15 metres long, normally propelled by combustion engines, into hybrid electric boats.

New distributor: Incofin

Incofin works across multiple markets in Italy including nautical, agricultural, industrial, construction, logistics, railway, and transportation sectors.

New distributor: Artı Marin

Arti Marin in Turkey specialises in onboard power and energy system solutions.

Arti Marin says of the new BlueNav partnership: ‘As a major distributor of electrical brands, we offer adequate technical support for all electrical installations on board. BlueNav offers a reliable solution for more sustainable navigation, and this is where our synergy is focused.

‘Combining our expertise in electrical systems with BlueNav’s eco-friendly solutions will help us achieve our goals even faster. It will also bring a diversified change in recreational boating in Turkish waters.’

BlueNav making waves

Alongside the strategic international expansion, BlueNav has made some interesting inroads in the boatbuilding market recently, signing a new distribution agreement with Azimut Electronics in January 2024. This covers handling sales, service, installation, and after-sales support for BlueNav products in Spain, catering to both leisure and commercial boats.
