Action Water Sports acquires former Tommy’s dealership
Action Water Sports, a boat dealership in central Florida, has acquired a former Tommy’s Boats dealership in Clermont, Florida, as it continues its expansion in the state.
Grand Rapids-based boat dealer Tommy’s Boats was placed under receivership in May this year, after mounting financial and legal woes.
Scheduled to open early next year, the new Action Water Sports facility will offer boating enthusiasts access to brands such as Cobalt, MasterCraft, and Barletta Pontoons, along with a pro shop and a service centre featuring dockside capabilities and a range of accessories.
Action Water Sports specialises in recreational boating and has operated in Florida and Michigan for over 30 years.
“This new location in Clermont will allow Action Water Sports to better serve the central Florida boating community by offering not only industry-leading boat brands but also a range of extensive services,” says Jerry Brouwer, president of Action Water Sports. “With our dockside service and industry-leading pro shop, we’re bringing the full Action Water Sports experience closer to home for many of our customers.”
The Clermont dealership will stock equipment from well-known water sports brands, operate a service centre with parts and accessories, and provide a variety of boats for users across central Florida.
